I’ve been working in the fire protection industry for over 20 years — the last 12 at Fire Defense Systems (FDS). In June of 2021, I acquired the business from its founder and my mentor, Joe Derose. 

Kim, my wife for even longer than I’ve been in the fire protection industry, recently joined the team as FDS’s Office Manager. Our three boys are part of the team, as well. We enjoy working together in the family business and spending quality time away from work with our grandchildren.
